New Director of Worship & Groups
Dear Bethel Community Church Family,
My name is Prazwal Chinnam (Praj), and I’m truly excited to be joining you all this Sunday for worship. It’s a joy and honor to step into this new season with you as the Director of Worship and Groups Ministries.
A little about me: I was born and raised in India in a Christian household. I accepted Christ in 2005, and ever since, I’ve been passionate about serving God in His ministry. While I had been in full-time ministry before, I later received a clear call to serve specifically in worship ministry—and I joyfully accepted that call.
That calling brought me to Chicago, where I attended Moody Bible Institute to pursue a degree in Worship and Media Arts. During my time there, I not only learned deeply but also had many opportunities to practically apply what I was learning in real ministry contexts. Through that experience, I now feel ready and equipped to come back to full-time ministry.
My wife, Samhitha (Sam), and I, along with our daughter Aviyah, are so grateful for this opportunity to be part of Bethel Community Church and to serve alongside you. I step into this role with humility, joy, and complete trust in God’s faithfulness.
As we prepare for Sunday, my heart is full of anticipation. I’m eager to worship with you, get to know you more, and grow together as a church that lifts high the name of Jesus. Thank you for welcoming me and my family so warmly.
